The 1,000 Minute Book Club is a voluntary book club available to all students when they visit the Reading Lab. Students are able to document their reading growth to earn fun prizes and recognition as they grow as readers.

Our 5th Grade GTE Spirit Team brings energy, pride, and positivity to Grovetown Elementary. They learn a full routine with stunts, tumbling, jumps, and more to support school events, including an end of the year performance. They demonstrate Jaguar pride every day.

Chorus provides an opportunity for students who enjoy singing to enrich their musical creativity and skills through practice and school performances. Registration will take place September 4-11. Information concerning rehearsal will be given out with registration.

Jaguar Ambassadors serve as GTE’s Safety Patrol. They assist students during arrival and dismissal, and use their leadership skills to mentor younger students in safety procedures while at school.

Learning Commons Assistants help run the circulation desk in the mornings when the news show is being prepared and delivered. Responsible 5th graders help other students to return, find, and check out library books. They also run errands and shelve books.

The Kindness Crew consists of students who are respectful, responsible and ready. They meet to complete school and community service projects to spread kindness far and wide.
